ACL injury (Suspect complete tear)

– Based on:

  – Mechanism of injury

  – Immediate swelling

  – Instability symptoms

  – Positive lachman’s

MCL sprain (Incomplete – Grade I or II)

– Based on:

  – Mechanism of injury

  – Pain on palpation

  – Valgus pain with minimal laxity

Medial Meniscal Injury (possible)

Based on:

  – Joint line tenderness

  – Positive thessaly’s and grind test
