Fibular Nerve Tinel’s Sign

This test is used to detect Peroneal (Fibular) Nerve entrapment. To perform this test, tap over the anterior tarsal tunnel on the proximal dorsum of the foot. The test is positive if it produces paraesthesias in the fibular nerve distribution.
